Title: Interactive case based workshop focusing on glucose management of Type 2 Diabetes.
Overview: This workshop will facilitate a case-based peer discussion focussing on glucose management of type 2 diabetes in the context of the Australian Blood Glucose Treatment Algorithm. Discussion of the cases will explore factors influencing the choice of second and third-line blood glucose lowering medicines, the stepwise treatment of diabetes and determining when to escalate therapy as well as identifying the best approach to assess, manage and monitor risk of diabetes complications
