Yan Bi

Yan Bi is a Ph.D supervisor of Nanjing University and Nanjing Medical University, and the Deputy Director of the Endocrinology Department at Drum Tower Hospital affiliated to Nanjing University Medical School. She is also the Vice Chairman of the Youth Committee of Chinese Diabetes Society, the Deputy Leader of the Obesity and Diabetes Group of Chinese Diabetes Society, and the Vice Chairman of Jiangsu Association of Diabetes. Besides, she is now one of the members of 333 High-level Talents Training Program of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Provincial Six Talent Peaks, and Jiangsu Provincial Medical Talents. She has been focused on the clinical and basic research of type 2 diabetes and obesity. So far, she has published more than 50 articles in the SCI journals including Diabetologia. She has been in charge of 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation, and her publications were selected as one of the top 10 Outstanding Researches of Chinese Diabetes Society in 2012 and 2014, respectively and won the 1st prize of Outstanding Paper Award of Chinese Journal of Diabetes. She has also won the Rising Star Award of Chinese Insulin Secretion Research Group, and the 1st prize of Newly Medical Technology Import Award of Jiangsu Province.
