Haipeng Xiao
Prof. Haipeng Xiao is the president of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He is a member of American Thyroid Association (ATA), member of Continuing Medical Education (CME) of American Endocrine Society, and member of Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE). In China, he acts as the vice secretary general of Clinical Teaching Committee of Medical Education Ministry of Education, and vice president of China Endocrine and Metabolism Branch of Chinese Doctor Association. His research fields mainly focused on MicroRNA and thyroid cancer, clinical management of thyroid disease, and microRNA and beta cell function. He has won three research funds of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published over 50 peer-review original articles on journals,including JCEM, Journal of molecular endocrinology, International journal of Endocrinology, PLoS One, DTT, et al.
